XRobotics is an automated pizza assembly robot designed to solve labor shortages and production consistency in high-volume kitchens.
Over the six-year partnership, I served as a strategic design partner, bridging the gap between hardware engineering and end-user interaction, and supported evolution of the company. From early-stage fundraising and proof of concept to global scaling, our partnership played a key role in shaping the product's evolution.
HMI & UI Engineering
The challenge was to transform complex robotics telemetry into a simplified, high-velocity interface for kitchen staff. By observing real-world workflows, I designed a dashboard that requires zero training, allowing operators to manage assembly, monitor ingredient levels, and troubleshoot machines in real-time.
I engineered the frontend HMI and supporting Node.js services, architecting a cross-platform Electron application currently deployed across 300+ commercial locations.

Systems Architecture
I established a scalable React component library and design system for configuration and monitoring workflows. By partnering with engineering on the data-orchestration layers, I ensured design-to-code integrity across all internal tools. The system was built with a highly modular architecture, allowing for isolated updates and future-proofing as the hardware evolved and the team expanded.
Brand & Sales Support
I defined the visual identity for XRobotics, evolving the brand from a hardware startup to a food-tech leader. This included optimizing the B2B sales funnel and creating high-fidelity materials, from Cube manuals and troubleshooting guidelines to investor presentations.
